The SEND Policy is reviewed annually and all stakeholders are involved in this process, and we will know that the policy is having an impact by –
Ensuring that each child is making progress academically against national/age expected levels (or equivalents) and that the gap is narrowing between them and their peers.
By reviewing children’s targets against POPs and ensuring that they are being met as well as reviewing the overall provision in place for each child on the SEN register.
Through taking feedback from the child, parent/carer and adults working with each child to build a wider picture.
Through children moving off the SEN register when they have made sufficient progress – parents will always will involved if this has taken place.
