Key Stage 2

Mrs Whitwell

I have discovered a fantastic website for all you budding artists.

Rob Biddulph has created lots of 10 minute tutorial videos for you to follow and create your own illustrations.

Just click on this link to take you to his website and scroll down to choose a video:

I had a go at drawing 'Gregosaurus'.  I hope you like him!  What will you draw?  I can't wait to see all of your creations!

Year 4 May Half-Term Challenges

Mr Dickinson's Challenge

How tall can you make a tower? You can use a range of household items, lego or wooden blocks to build your tower. You can look at some examples below to help. If possible, try to measure your tower as well.

Some rules to go with the challenge:

- Each item MUST not be longer than a 30cm ruler (so you can't use a dining room chair for example!)

- You can use a variety of items...it doesn't have to be lots of the same item used to make the tower.

Remember to use your imagination!!

Mr Sutcliffe's Memory Challenge

Mr Broderick's Challenge

As most of you, I love SpongeBob SquarePants cartoons (I know, I'm an adult and I should know better, but I can't help it). I want to challenge you to draw SpongeBob and here is a video link to help you:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=KWGaDZT8GQU&feature=emb_logo .

Don't forget to send me a photo of your drawings. Oh, just one more thing, "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"

Mrs Smit's Challenge

You've probably spent a lot more time than usual in your bedrooms, but what if you could design your perfect room.  I would like you create the bedroom of your dreams. Use a plan like the one above to draw your ideas. Be creative, you can have anything you want. When you have finished, send it to the Year Six email. Good lucksmiley
