Year 5/6 Rugby Club

Our Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Club took place every Thursday from 3.25pm until 4.30pm from September until October half term.

We have built up skills of dodging, running at speed, defending and attacking.  We played mini games and then eventually built up to playing a 7 a side game.

In our final few sessions, our innovative children made up a new game of rugby/football and absolutely loved playing their own adaptation of the game.

We definitely have had fun in our rugby club and look forward to representing Canada in the World Cup Rugby Festival in March 2020.

Our children could certainly be spotted playing for England in the World Cup in years to come!
