Reception New Starters September 2024

We would like to welcome all the boys and girls and their families who have a place at Rosewood Primary School for September 2024. Over the next few days, you will receive an email welcoming your child and their family to our school. You will also receive a google form to complete. Please complete this as soon as possible so that we can contact your child's nursery. The reception team will contact your child's nursery and arrange to visit your child in their pre-school setting (if possible). We will write to you with a date and time for your child's home visit.

Please make sure that we have your up-to-date email address, telephone number and home address. Please let the school office know if you do not received any correspondence from school by 22nd April 2024.

Reception Induction Meeting

Monday 3rd June 2024 5pm

We are looking forward to meeting all of our new starters and their families. We will hold an Induction Meeting on Monday 3rd June so that you can find out more information about your child starting in reception at Rosewood. We look forward to seeing you all there.

^{Stay & Play Dates - September 2024}

Important dates for September:-

Tuesday 3^rd and Wednesday 4^th September - These two days will be our stay and play sessions. We will be inviting children in for one morning or afternoon slot with a parent or carer. Your child will have the opportunity to explore the reception learning environments with a small number of children from their class.

Thursday 5^th and Friday 6^th September - On these two days, your child will be in school, with half of their class, for either mornings or afternoons.

Monday 9^th September – All children will start full time. Gates open at 8:45am. Home time is at 3:15pm.
