Lower Key Stage Two Leader
I’m Mrs Truelove, a Year 4 teacher, PE and Lower Key Stage 2 Lead at Rosewood. This will be my fifth year at Rosewood, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a wonderful school community.
PE is my favourite subject to teach because I love seeing children grow in confidence, develop new skills and learn the importance of teamwork and resilience. It’s a fantastic way to support both physical and mental wellbeing, while giving children the opportunity to have fun and discover activities they enjoy. I particularly enjoy organising competitions, sporting events and a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities for our children.
Outside of school, I spend most of my time with my husband, our two boys, George and Sebastian, and our dog, Harry. I love being outdoors, whether that’s hiking in the Lake District, running, skiing or, most often, cheering my children on from the side of a football pitch — usually in the rain!
I’m looking forward to another fantastic year at Rosewood!
